SUMMARY:
In accordance with Board Governance Process Policy - 8, Board Committees are established to assist the Board with policy advice, Santa Clara Valley Water District Mission implementation, respective expertise, and, importantly, to help produce the link between Valley Water and the community.
The following committee member nominations for the Agricultural Water Advisory Committee and Environmental and Water Resources Committee are submitted for Board re-appointments consideration in accordance with Board Resolution 17-75, Providing for and Defining the Structure and Function of Board Committees (Attachment 1).

The Office of the Clerk of the Board has budgeted funds to support the business meetings of the Board’s Advisory Committees for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.

The recommended action does not constitute a project under CEQA because it does not have a potential for resulting in direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
