Consider and approve the re-appointment of committee members for an additional two-year term to the Agricultural Water Advisory Committee.
Body
SUMMARY:
In accordance with Board Governance Process Policy - 8, Board Committees are established to assist the Board with policy advice, Santa Clara Valley Water District Mission implementation, respective expertise, and, importantly, to help produce the link between Valley Water and the community.
The following committee member nominations for the Agricultural Water Advisory Committee (AWAC) are submitted for re-appointment consideration in accordance with Board Resolution 17-75, Providing for and Defining the Structure and Function of Board Committees (Attachment 1).

If approved, the new two-year term for these committee members will start on January 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2026.
ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AND EQUITY IMPACT:
There are no environmental justice and equity impacts associated with the Re-Appointment of Committee Members to the Agricultural Water Advisory Committee. This action is unlikely to or will not result in adverse impacts and is not associated with an equity opportunity.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The Office of the Clerk of the Board has budgeted funds to support the business meetings of the Board’s Advisory Committees for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
CEQA:
The recommended action does not constitute a project under CEQA because it does not have the potential for resulting in direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
