Consider the January 2026 Board Advisory Agricultural Water Advisory Committee, Environmental and Water Resources Committee, and Santa Clara Valley Water Commission's recommendations to approve the Board Advisory Committee Annual Work Plans.

SUMMARY:
The Board's Advisory Committees (Committees) were established to prepare policy alternatives and provide comment on activities in the implementation of Santa Clara Valley Water District's (Valley Water) mission for Board consideration. When requested by the Board, the Committees may help the Board produce the link between Valley Water and the public through information sharing to the communities they represent.
In keeping with the Board's broader focus, the Committees do not direct the implementation of Valley Water programs and projects, other than to receive information and provide comment for Board consideration.
The following Committees listed have their respective 2026 Annual Work Plans for approval by the Board (Attachments 1-3).
* Chairperson Trevor Garrod
Agricultural Water Advisory Committee (AWAC) Annual Work Plan was approved at the January 5, 2026, Committee meeting for recommendation to the Board.
* Chairperson Bob Levy
Environmental and Water Resources Committee (EWRC) Annual Work Plan was approved at the January 26, 2026, Committee meeting for recommendation to the Board.
* Chairperson Murali Srinivasan
Santa Clara Valley Water Commission (SCVWC) Annual Work Plan was approved with additions at the January 28, 2026, Commission meeting for recommendation to the Board.
