SUMMARY:
The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) has begun the election process for the 2026-'27 term for President, Vice President, and region Board Members. Voting for candidates will be done electronically by each Member agency's designated voter on a single ballot. Member agencies must designate one voting Representative by submitting an Authorized Voting Representative Form by June 20, 2025.
The election period is Monday, July 21, 2025, through Friday, September 19, 2025. The authorized Voting Representative will receive an email from Simply Voting with a link to the ballot for President, Vice President and respective region Board. The election results will be announced on September 26, 2025. The introduction of the President, Vice President and region Boards will take place at the Fall ACWA Conference on December 3, 2025.
This item allows the Board to appoint a delegate as the Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) voting representative to vote for the President, Vice President and region Board Members.
